As many as seven cars belonging to beleaguered e-commerce firm Evaly, which has been mired in controversy, were auctioned recently, so as to pay the customers.
Media reports maintained this adding the court-appointed Board of Directors of Evaly auctioned the cars which were sold for Taka 2 crore, 90 lakh and 55 thousand even as seven buyers bought the cars at the highest bid after a long auction process.
Meanwhile, speaking to the media, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Evaly, AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury Manik (former Supreme Court’s Justice), expressed satisfaction regarding the auction process and price.
It may be mentioned here Evaly has been in the news lately following reports of alleged malpractices.
