Van Heusen India announces its partnership with Color Threads Inc. for the launch of inStem’s ‘G-Fab’ Technology in India. With this collaboration, the retailer will be introducing Made-in-India mask & athleisure clothing powered by G99+ antiviral technology.
These masks and athleisure will be manufactured using inStem’s Germicidal fabric technology which reduces >90 per cent and 99.99 per cent of SARS-CoV-2 virus infectivity in 5 and 15 minutes, respectively. The viruses’ load of SARS-CoV-2 is reduced when it comes into contact with the treated fabric.
The technology has been tested under lab conditions as per modified ISO 18184 protocol at independent biotechnology research laboratory, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
These masks are washable and reusable up to 30 washes subject to wash care instructions being followed.
The Van Heusen mask integrated with G99+ antiviral is available in free size for both men and women. They will be available both in store and online platform across the country.
