
Uniqlo has announced it will open a new 16,502 sq.ft. London store within the One Oxford Street development next to Tottenham Court Road tube station, and a 15,392 sq.ft. store on Princes Street in Edinburgh – its first in Scotland – in spring 2024.
The high street apparel retailer opened a new store in London’s Covent Garden in April 2023, and the new London and Edinburgh stores will take its UK store count to 19.
Alessandro Dudech, COO of Uniqlo UK, said, “We are excited to take this next big step in the UK’s expansion plans with two new stores in spring 2024.”
The parent company of Uniqlo, Theory, and GU, Fast Retailing, reported last month that its revenues increased by 20.2 per cent for the fiscal year that ended on 31st August 2023, with Uniqlo reaching “record annual performance” for the third year in a row.
