Tata Group retailer Trent reported a 19% year-on-year increase in standalone revenue for the first quarter of FY27, driven by continued expansion of its Westside and Zudio store networks.
According to the company’s business update, standalone revenue from operations, excluding GST, rose to Rs 5,666 crore US $ 594.6 million in the quarter ended June 30, compared with Rs 4,781 crore US $ 501.7 million in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from the sale of merchandise, excluding other operating income, also registered a 19% year-on-year growth.
The performance comes amid continued expansion of Trent’s value fashion business and steady consumer demand.
The company has maintained strong growth through rapid store additions, particularly in the Zudio format, while also accelerating the expansion of Westside.
Trent had reported a 26 % year-on-year increase in net profit for the fourth quarter of FY26.
During the quarter, Trent added one Westside store and 19 Zudio outlets. As of June 30, 2026, the company operated a total of 1,312 stores, comprising 301 Westside outlets, 982 Zudio stores including seven in the UAE and 29 stores across other lifestyle formats.
