Tommy Hilfiger, the clothing retailer based in Amsterdam (the Netherlands), has launched its maiden rental pilot in partnership with My Wardrobe HQ– the rental platform based in the UK.
Notably, the retailer’s womenswear, footwear and fashion accessories are now available to either buy or rent on My Wardrobe HQ.
Here it is important to mention that My Wardrobe HQ platform allows users to browse products from brands, retailers and other individual users to rent or buy products.
The rental platform takes 20 per cent fee on transactions.
Tommy Hilfiger, reportedly, believes the partnership is yet another meaningful step in exploring circular business models.
Substantiating further, Esther Verburg, Sustainable Business And Innovation Executive Vice President, Tommy Hilfiger Global and PVH Europe, said “We are excited to challenge the status quo and offer our customers a new opportunity to enjoy classic American cool style, in a way other than buying new.”
Founded in 1985, Tommy Hilfiger is a premium clothing brand, manufacturing apparel, footwear, accessories, fragrances and home furnishings.
