
Tokyo takes the lead as the foremost global luxury shopping destination, as per findings from upscale travel curator Lartisien. Among cities famed for their prestigious designer boutiques, Tokyo stands tall with 217 designer stores, notably establishing Ginza district as the pinnacle of luxury shopping experiences.
Following Tokyo, Hong Kong secures second place with 211 designer stores, while Seoul takes the third spot with 210 boutiques, featuring Asia’s largest underground mall, Starfield Coex Mall.
Paris, famed for Europe’s largest luxury groups, hosts 177 designer stores, exuding an undeniably chic and romantic allure in locations such as Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and The Golden Triangle. New York, with 124 designer boutiques lining its famous avenues like Madison and Fifth, clinches fifth place.
Dubai, with 121 designer shops, stands as a true luxury haven, boasting a tax-free lifestyle, a booming economy, and the world’s largest shopping mall in the Middle East. London secures seventh place with 112 luxury stores, while Los Angeles and Las Vegas trail with 83 and 71 designer stores respectively, with Rodeo Drive epitomizing the celebrity lifestyle of the former.
Milan completes the top ten with 69 luxury stores, revered as Italy’s fashion capital. Its upscale districts like Quadrilatero della Moda and iconic locations like Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II house flagship stores of global luxury brands, solidifying its position in the elite list of luxury shopping cities.
