Come April and there’s some good news for all working at Vanners’ factory!
The Sudbury-based textile manufacturer has, reportedly, planned to reopen its factory in April 2021.
Roger Gawn, who had acquired Vanners last December and who also owns British luxury firm Swaine Adeney Brigg, had temporarily shut down the factory last month following the number of orders slowing down considerably.

He also ensured that all the employees who did not receive wages or those who received only part of their wages – owing to non-receipt of activation codes from HM Revenue and Customs –will receive backdated pay in few weeks.
