
Ted Baker, one of the UK’s fastest growing leading lifestyle brands, has announced interim results for the 28 weeks ended August 12, 2017.
During the period under review, the fashion retailer’s revenue soared 14 per cent from £ 259.5 million last year to £ 295.7 million this year.
The company also noted a 13.9 per cent increase in its retail sales to £ 217.7 million including e-commerce sales during the said period.
The Ted Baker brand, which continued to perform well, reported an 11.0 per cent increase (9.1 per cent in constant currency) to £ 145 million in its UK and Europe sales.
Additionally, the label noted an 18.8 per cent (7.8 per cent in constant currency) increase to £ 60.7 million in its North America retail sales. Its Asia sales too surged by 29.5 per cent (19.6 per cent in constant currency) to settle at £ 11.4 million.
The Group is confident of making further progress in the full year despite the challenging situation in some of its major markets.
