Luxury clothing retailer Ted Baker has noted growth in its revenue of 16.4 per cent to Euro 531 million. The brand also saw raise in its pre-tax profit of 12 per cent to Euro 65.8 million. Its retail sales rose 15 per cent to Euro 400.7 million with UK and Europe retail sales up 10.7 per cent to Euro 279.5 million.
The retailer witnessed huge growth in its US and Canada markets where the sales zoomed 28.3 per cent to Euro 103.4 million. It has recorded growth in its online sales as well which increased by 35.1 per cent to Euro 72.3 million. The licence income improved 26.8 per cent to Euro 18.2 million and wholesale too increased 20.9 per cent to Euro 130.30 million.
Ray Kelvin, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the company, stated, “We have continued to trade well and develop despite a backdrop of ongoing external challenges across our global markets. We have a clear strategy for continued growth across both established and newer markets.”

Ted Baker is now working towards its geographical expansion in the UK and Europe, North America and Asia markets. The apparel brand is planning new openings in Paris, Oxford, Gloucester, Roermond, Los Angeles, Houston, Shanghai, Japan and South Korea, and premium department store in Canada.
The company will also continue to invest in its e-commerce website is to enhance customer experience.
