Activewear brand TechnoSport has opened two new Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) in Gurugram and Erode, Tamil Nadu marking a key milestone in its nationwide retail expansion. With these additions, the company now operates 26 EBOs across India, surpassing the halfway point toward its target of 50 outlets by the end of the financial year.
The Gurugram outlet, spanning 1,678 sq.ft., was inaugurated by Puspen Maity, CEO of TechnoSport, along with senior company officials. The store marks a strategic move in strengthening TechnoSport’s presence in North India, a region witnessing rapid growth in athleisure demand, supported by robust mall footfall and an evolving fitness-oriented lifestyle. The outlet also offers region-specific winterwear collections, tailored to suit the climate and urban sensibilities of the NCR market.
The Erode outlet, covering 2,202 sq.ft., further consolidates the brand’s strong presence in South India. Known for its rising fitness culture and economic growth, Erode represents an important Tier-2 market for TechnoSport’s expansion. The new store aims to deepen the brand’s connection with South India’s activewear consumers while broadening access to quality performance apparel beyond metropolitan areas.
Commenting on the expansion, Puspen Maity said the new store openings across two key regions mark “an important step in TechnoSport’s journey towards becoming India’s most accessible and trusted activewear brand.” He added that by establishing a presence in both Gurugram and Erode, the company is “bridging two dynamic markets—North and South India—and bringing innovation-led, performance-driven products closer to customers nationwide.” Maity also noted that reaching the halfway mark toward its 50-store goal this financial year “reflects the growing trust and enthusiasm Indian consumers have shown for TechnoSport.”
