Responsible, the streetwear re-commerce platform, has joined hands with British fashion house Raeburn as well as with some other streetwear partners.
The platform is expected to help fashion brands gain customer loyalty in addition to moving into the circular fashion market.
Notably, Responsible can be integrated directly into a brand’s website, enabling more control over resale and removing any risk associated with the implementation.
Also, the platform will take on the cost of used apparels, co-investing alongside its brands.
The customers can also go for Responsible’s Buy Back service wherein they can return the product when they are finished, in exchange for store credit.
Every authentic product – returned to Responsible – goes through deep cleaning processes and brand-approved repair where necessary, with any product deemed unfit for resale to be either recycled or upcycled.
More on the alliance, Mark Dowds, Founder and CEO, Responsible, said that its re-commerce store and Buy Back format offer a truly elevated experience for shoppers and brands, and it will be a pivotal step moving forward in delivering circularity in the streetwear industry.
As a part of the launch, Raeburn allied with the platform to take over a store throughout the Black Friday weekend.
Raeburn is a British fashion label with a unique and innovative approach to creating menswear, womenswear and accessories collections.
