
Sportswear retailer Intersport has partnered with Calzados La Otra Opcion Ltd., which operates 20 footwear and sportswear stores in Chile, set up stores in the country, as well as the management of the brand’s services there.
On expanding its reach in the South American market, Franz Julen, CEO of Intersport said, “This market entry is another milestone in the history of INTERSPORT. After Europe, Canada, the Middle East, Asia and Australia Intersport now has a presence in South America.”

Calzados La Otra Opcion-operated stores which will be altered into Intersport’s multi-branded stores by the end of this year. Intersport aims to open 40 standalone stores in Chile in next four years.
