Bengaluru-based fashion brand SNITCH has acquired women’s western-wear label Berrylush, marking its formal entry into the women’s fashion segment as the company broadens its presence beyond menswear.
SNITCH founder and CEO Siddharth Dungarwal announced the acquisition on social media, stating that the company will work with Berrylush co-founder Anusha Chandrashekar and her team to rebuild and relaunch the brand as “Berrylush 2.0.”
“Acquiring Berrylush marks the beginning of our journey into women’s fashion as we work to build a Made-in-India brand for the world. With the acquisition of Berrylush, we’re entering women’s fashion by combining a trusted brand with SNITCH’s growth expertise”, said Siddharth Dungarwal.
As part of the process, SNITCH plans to publicly document the first 100 days of the integration, sharing product decisions, positioning changes, execution challenges, successes, and lessons learned.
The financial terms of the transaction and the ownership structure have not been disclosed.
The acquisition enables SNITCH to enter the women’s fashion category through an established brand rather than building a new label from scratch.
Berrylush, a women’s western wear brand has built a presence in the affordable women’s western-wear market, offering dresses, tops, co-ords, jumpsuits, skirts, and trousers through its own website and online marketplaces, including Myntra.
Founded by Anusha Chandrashekar and Alok Paul, Berrylush provides SNITCH with an existing customer base, established supplier relationships, marketplace presence, product catalogue, and years of category expertise in women’s fashion.
For Berrylush, the acquisition offers access to SNITCH’s expanding omnichannel infrastructure. The fashion retailer operates more than 100 stores, has expanded internationally, and has developed a data-driven fast-fashion model focused on rapid product development and distribution.
The move comes as SNITCH accelerates its growth beyond its digital-first menswear business.
The company reported unaudited operating revenue of approximately Rs 900 crore in FY26, up around 80% from Rs 498 crore in the previous fiscal year, while maintaining an EBITDA margin of about 2%–3%. Around 60% of its revenue was generated through online channels, with the remaining 40% coming from offline stores.
According to Tracxn, Berrylush reported annual revenue of around Rs 44.2 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.
However, Founder Anusha Chandrashekar recently described the business as a Rs 75 crore brand.
SNITCH had also raised Rs 278 crore in 2025 in a funding round led by 360 One Asset to support its offline expansion and long-term growth strategy.
