Slikk, the rapid fashion delivery startup revolutionising the way urban India buys fashion, has raised US $ 10 million in a Series A round led by Nexus Venture Partners. Lightspeed doubled down on its investment, joining the round two months after leading Slikk’s US $ 3.2 million seed round in March—also supported by Multiply Ventures and a group of angel investors.
The Bengaluru-firm, co-founded by Akshay Gulati, Om Prakash Swami, and Bipin Singh, is a pioneer in 60-minute fashion delivery with a Try & Buy model for Gen Z and millennial shoppers. With a strong presence in Bengaluru, Slikk combines instant gratification with frictionless experience with guaranteed fast delivery and near-instant refunds.
The new capital will drive the company’s growth into high-growth lifestyle verticals such as beauty, personal care, footwear, accessories, and wearables. Slikk also intends to introduce instant return options—a strategy aimed at setting the bar on convenience and consumer confidence in Indian e-commerce.
The marketplace currently features over 80 youth lifestyle brands like Snitch, The Souled Store, Freakins, Uptownie, and Bewakoof catering to a style-conscious user base fueled by social media influences and impulse buying.
Rahul Taneja, Partner at Lightspeed said that Slikk’s approach to fashion commerce has always been refreshingly forward-thinking. He added that their product-market fit is evident in strong user retention and engagement, and they’re excited to deepen their partnership as they scale into new categories and geographies.
