
Skechers opened a new retail store in Delhi’s DLF Promenade Mall, celebrating with a Community Goal Challenge, joined by Bollywood stars Ananya Panday and Rohit Saraf. Participants ran on treadmills to reach a collective goal of 1,000 kilometres, supporting Krida Vikas Sanstha, an organisation aiding children in need in India.
As part of its social responsibility initiative, Skechers pledged to donate 100 pairs of new Skechers shoes to Krida Vikas Sanstha in this edition of the challenge. The NGO utilises sports to empower underprivileged children and drive social development.
Rahul Vira, CEO of Skechers Asia Pvt. Ltd., expressed his satisfaction with the success of the third edition of the Community Goal Challenge in Delhi-NCR. He stated that “The event’s goal was to inspire the capital of India towards a healthier lifestyle while supporting a cause, and the overwhelming response from participants surpassed expectations.”
Vira highlighted the event’s significant impact in one of the busiest cities in the country, expressing pride in the collective difference they have made together.
