
Shopsy, a hyper-value e-commerce platform by Flipkart, witnessed a surge in sales and customers during the recently concluded the third edition of its sale event ‘The Grand Shopsy Mela’.
Shopsy’s customer base doubled during the course of the six-day event, with 40% of those new to online shopping. With more than 60 per cent of the clients coming from tier 3 plus cities nationwide, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Maharashtra contributed to the biggest orders.
Commenting on the sale event, Kapil Thirani, Head of Shopsy in a statement said, “As the festive season kicks off, we are overwhelmed by the response to the third edition of the Grand Shopsy Mela by shoppers across the country, especially from Tier-2 plus regions.”
