
Selfridges has debuted Selfridges Unlocked, a new loyalty programme that grants members automatic free shipping on purchases over £ 150 and first access to special events, services, and product releases.
With its new promotion, the upscale department store will now give automatically on behalf of each consumer to its charity partner Centrepoint following each transaction.
Customers have the option of receiving a Selfridges Key QR code, which may then be used both in-person and online after being downloaded into the holder’s wallet.
The move was inspired by Harry Gordon Selfridge, the store’s founder, who served customers with keys on the first day of business in 1909 in an effort to make them feel “at home” while they were shopping.
Customers who join up will get full access to events like master classes with well-known beauty experts, Selfridges’ first swap shop, early access to film releases, supper clubs, and unique experiences that have been carefully designed in collaboration with the Manchester International Festival.
Customers will be entered into a monthly prize draw for a chance to win a day of adventures at Selfridges every time they shop at the store using their key.
