As it accelerates its plans for American expansion, the UK-based apparel brand Seasalt expects to open at least two more stores in the United States next year.
Following its September opening, the fashion company announced that its US store debut in Falmouth, Massachusetts, had exceeded expectations, with consumers spending, on average, 140 per cent more than in its UK locations, according to reports.
The Grove in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, will be the brand’s second location in March. In May, a store will open in Portsmouth, New Hampshire’s Market Square.
Although the precise locations have not yet been determined, Seasalt also intends to open two other outlets along the East Coast of America.
By selling a carefully chosen selection of its designs and its whole womenswear line starting next year, the shop is growing its wholesale presence with department store chain Nordstrom. US consumers are responding favourably to the brand, according to the corporation, spending money at the retail location when they come and asking to learn more about it.
