Ronald D. Boire, currently president and CEO of Sears Canada Inc., is set to become the chief exectutive of Barnes & Noble Inc.’s new retail division, effective Sept. 8. The company has named Brandon G. Stranzl, chairman of the board, as executive chairman to help with the transition. The departure of Ronald in less than one year means that Sears Canada is looking for its fourth CEO in four years. Before transition to Sears Canada, Ronald was executive VP, chief merchandising officer and president, Sears and Kmart Formats at Sears Holdings.
