Scotch & Soda has been a frequent topic in recent years, initially for its ambitious store expansion program and later for its dramatic collapse in 2023. Now, under new ownership, the brand is once again in expansion mode and has just opened the doors of its revamped store on Carnaby Street, London.
The company stated that this reopening marks “a new chapter for the beloved brand under new ownership.” The store opens 12 months after the label was acquired by New York-based brand management company Bluestar Alliance.
Bluestar Alliance revealed that the UK reopening is being led by Victor Barbosa, a South African business owner who has worked closely with the label for 13 years. “Renowned for his success in managing Scotch & Soda in South Africa, Barbosa brings extensive experience and expertise to this exciting partnership,” the company explained.
