After working for Salvatore Ferragamo for more than 19 years, the chief financial officer of the Italian luxury business has announced his departure. Alessandro Corsi started up as the head of business development and e-commerce for the heritage group in 2003, eventually moving up to more senior positions.
In January 2019, Corsi finally took the position of group CFO, taking on duties such as managing the company’s financial reports.
Corsi’s contract with Salvatore Ferragamo will expire on September 30, 2023, the fashion house announced in a press release. “A new professional challenge” is what he is reportedly undertaking.
The statement continued, “The company expresses its deepest thanks to Mr. Alessandro Corsi for his professional contribution during these years of collaboration and wishes Mr. Alessandro Corsi all the best for his professional future.”
