Specialised in uniform and safetywear, start-up Nona Lifestyle has raised Pre-Series A funding of US $ 1.4 million from venture capital firm LC Nueva and other HNIs (high-net worth individuals).
The company said in a press release that it has plans to use the funds to develop backend technology and a managed marketplace platform.
Established in 2016, the start-up aims to consolidate the fragmented and unorganised B2B segment of customised products in textile merchandise. It claims to have delivered more than 5 million units to over 100 clients with 250-plus manufacturers.
Ankit Rajput, Co-founder of the company said, “With this investment, our major focus will be to incorporate technological advancements. This way, the delivery turnaround time and quality of products will improve, and we will be able to scale our business by serving a huge customer base globally.”
The brand plans to expand its footprint in other domestic and international markets and explore opportunities such as selling raw materials and strengthening its presence in the uniform and safetywear market.
Currently, it is present in Gurgaon and Bengaluru and plans to expand across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. At the global level, the brand is present in Dubai and intends to tap into the European market.
