American sports fashion brand Nike is bringing its ‘Refurbished’ platform to Europe, according to the German magazine Konsider. ‘Nike Refurbished’ was already available in the United States in 2021.
Customers can use the ‘Nike Refurbished’ platform to return used Nike shoes to the brand. According to Konsider, the corporation then refurbishes the shoes and sells them in different stores. Only shoes that are somewhat worn and cannot be sold as new will be accepted. The concept cannot breathe fresh life into worn-out shoes.
The portal will be launched in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, according to the media site. A later expansion into additional countries is possible.
