Nike Inc. has announced the appointment of Treasure Heinle as executive vice president and chief human resources officer, effective 6th January 2025. Heinle will oversee the company’s global HR function and drive its people’s vision and strategy. She succeeds Monique Matheson, who is retiring after a 26-year career at Nike.
In her new role, Heinle will report to Nike President and CEO Elliott Hill. Heinle joined Nike in 2012 as VP of HR for North America and has since held leadership roles in global operations and consumer teams. Most recently, she served as the company’s chief talent officer. Before joining Nike, Heinle held HR leadership roles at Danaher, Tektronix, and In-Focus.
Matheson, who became chief HR officer in 2017, has been instrumental in establishing Nike as a top talent destination. Hill expressed gratitude for her contributions and wished her well in retirement.
The announcement follows Nike’s recent promotion of Kizmet Mills to chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer, emphasizing the company’s focus on leadership transformation.
