US-based sportswear giant Nike has appointed Scott Uzzell as the next CEO of its subsidiary brand Converse. Scott will replace Davide Grasso, whose term ends at the end of current year.
Prior to his appointment, Scott was working with Coca-Cola as the president of venturing and emerging brands, where he was responsible for the company to come up with a portfolio of brands such as Honest Tea and ZICO Coconut Water.
Scott will be reporting to Michael Spillane, Nike’s president of categories and products, upon his arrival at the American brand.

It is pertinent to mention that Converse in its last fiscal, reported a negative growth of 8 per cent in its revenues, which were recorded at US $ 1.886 billion.
