
Highsnobiety is a global fashion and lifestyle media brand has appointed Nichelle Sanders as executive vice president, North America general manager.
Sanders will be located in Highsnobiety’s New York City office, where she will lead strategic initiatives, create and execute critical client connections, and supervise the US business beginning immediately.
“Highsnobiety combines my enthusiasm for creativity, business, and culture with my experience launching successful creative projects. I am excited to bring our skills as a cultural consulting and creativity studio to pioneering brands looking to secure their company and build credibility in culture,” Sanders said.
Sanders joins Highsnobiety with a strong background in brand marketing, having previously worked for R/GA and Virtue, the advertising and marketing arm of the media platform Vice.
“We firmly believe that Nichelle’s vision, her leadership skills, and profound understanding of the market make her the ideal candidate for Highsnobiety’s next phase in the US, and going on to propel Highsnobiety as the resulting marketing partner and media platform among the fashion, art and creative communities across the globe,” said David Fischer, founder and CEO of Highsnobiety.
According to the corporation, work has had an effect on some of the world’s most famous brands, ranging from consumer products and services including Nike, Maybelline, Old Navy, Meta, and Target to luxury properties as Estée Lauder, Shiseido, Beam Suntory, Hendricks Gin, Netjets and Nespresso. Sanders has worked as the head of marketing and strategy for Afropunk and the marketing lead for Blu Hammock Music, a record label she helped start under Sony Music.
