Fashion-tech brand Newme has launched its fast delivery service, ‘Zip,’ in Bengaluru, promising customers delivery at their doorstep within 60 minutes. Bengaluru becomes the second city to get this fast-fashion innovative offering, after a flourishing 90-minute delivery pilot in Delhi-NCR.
Newme, supported by 14 experience-focused stores across the country and a swiftly growing online community, is dedicated to building an omni-channel ecosystem focusing on speed, significance, and easy customer access.
“Gen Z expects trendy fashion, instant access, and personalized experiences,” said Sumit Jasoria, co-founder and CEO of Newme. “The excited response from our pilot showed that fast fashion must be fast. Newme Zip’s assurance of delivery within 60 minutes in Bengaluru marks a bold step forward and raises the bar in fashion-tech innovation.
At present, over 1,500 styles are available for quick delivery across Bengaluru, powered by a network of strategically located dark stores. Initial trials have effectively fulfilled orders in as little as 30 minutes, consistently meeting the 60-minute promise.
To meet increasing demand, Newme aims to scale its dark store presence in Bengaluru and is getting ready to roll out Newme Zip in Mumbai and Hyderabad in the near future.
Established in 2022 by Sumit Jasoria, Vinod Naik, Shivam Tripathi, and Himanshu Chaudhary, Newme targets over 500 million Gen Z consumers across India and Southeast Asia, focusing on quick, stylish, and accessible fashion.
