The footwear company Clarks is now very busy with marketing, having just unveiled a brand-new summer campaign along with a corresponding range.
Dubbed “A Love Letter to the Rave,” Sunset: A Clarks in Manchester is a film that honours the heritage of the underground Manchester rave culture from thirty years ago. The film, which was directed by Glenn Kitson, is described as “a fitting tribute to the era” that celebrated superclubs like the Hacienda and underground raves, “that inspired a worldwide dance movement.” Wallabee’s iconic shoe, “once again shining in the strobe light, landing in three vivid designs, each dedicated to individuality and freedom,” is part of the new collection.
Clarks is also teaming up with the Museum of Youth Culture to showcase some of its archive photography at the Clarks Originals store in Manchester.
