Mukesh Lodha has been appointed Chief of Finance by G.O.A.T Brand Labs, a D2C aggregate brand that acquires lifestyle brands and helps them scale globally.
Lodha is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years of experience in the finance domain and he has worked as the Chief of Finance in companies like Wipro Limited and Nielsen. In his new role, he will be expected to assist in brand development and profiting through platform-driven multiple-intervention approaches.
G.O.A.T Brands in their welcoming announcement said, “With his vast experience, we are excited to build systems, processes and understand gaps to build a fast-paced sustainable business.”
G.O.A.T Brands was founded by Rameswar Misra and Rishi Vasudev, who previously headed Flipkart’s fashion business. Vasudev expressed his excitement over the appointment of Lodha and said, “G.O.A.T is growing rapidly (80 per cent Y-o-Y). We are expanding nationally and internationally and looking forward to adding many exciting new brands in a few months. As we near the US $ 100 million ARR, it’s the right time to have a senior tenured leader join us to steer the finance team at G.O.A.T and its acquired companies. Lodha’s expertise across domain verticals will be a huge value add for us, and it will help us build a billion-dollar company.”
