US luxury brand Michael Kors has teamed up with Italian sportswear label Ellesse for an apparel collaboration.
The capsule collection, which launches sometime this month, will, reportedly, offer a luxurious and modern take on retro athleisure.
The launch will bring together the signature styles of both the iconic brands.
The 24-piece collection evokes the bold attitude, confidence as well as the eternal cool of vintage lifestyle looks and features collections emblazoned with a one-of-a-kind insignia that fuses Michael Kors’ iconic logo with Ellesse’s tennis-and-ski-inspired one.
Key styles, notably, comprise track jackets and pants, vintage-style swimsuits – not to mention exquisite chunky sneakers and beautiful neon hats.
The capsule also includes Michael Kors’ Hudson backpack and Bradshaw shoulder bag.
Ellesse, the Italian sportswear brand, was founded in 1959, and became very popular in 1970s as a producer of skiwear, such as quilted jackets and ski pants.
