“I’m delighted to start a new role as the Business Head of Foot Locker India”, declared Nandadeep Jayakar. Jayakar brings more than 27 years of executive leadership experience to the position, as shared on his profile.
Apart from this new role, Jayakar has been serving as the Senior VP at Metro Brands Limited, a position he took two months ago. His extensive career comprises leadership roles at prominent companies such as Adidas India, Sony, and Future Group.
Alisha Rafique Malik, President of Metro Brands Limited’s Sports Division for E-commerce and Customer Relationship Management, shared enthusiasm about Jayakar’s selection. “As the foremost footwear retailer in India, we are devoted to lining up with our customers’ needs,” Malik shared. “We look forward to promoting sneaker culture in the country with Nandadeep’s wide-ranging experience.”
Metro Brands Limited is about to launch its first Foot Locker brick-and-mortar store in October, with a focal point on metro locations for its preliminary expansion. This licensing agreement improves Metro Brands Limited’s sneaker and athleisure portfolio.
