Value fashion company Max Fashion, owned by Landmark Group, intends to expand its retail presence in India, concentrating on the southern area.
In the upcoming year, the business intends to open about fifteen new locations in southern Indian states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh.
At the moment, Max Fashion has over 300 locations throughout southern India, and it intends to grow even more in order to support its total expansion.
“The South market has been more traditional. Firstly, the number of SKUs in the south and west is relatively higher than in the north and east. Secondly, as a Bangalore-based company that started here, it’s natural that we have expanded more aggressively in this region than anywhere else,” Sumit Chandna, deputy CEO of Max Fashion said.
Max Fashion which entered the Indian market in 2006 currently has over 515 stores across 210 cities and sells online through its website.
