Barcelona’s fashion powerhouse, Mango, is shaking up its home division’s leadership structure. With Laura Vila bidding adieu after 17 years, the reins of Mango’s home category now fall into the hands of the former director of Mango’s franchise business, Nuria Font. Font’s tenure begins this June, marking a strategic move to invigorate Mango Home’s growth trajectory by tapping into internal talent.
Font brings nearly two decades of experience within Mango. Her journey at Mango began in 2006 as a product manager in commercial product management, gradually ascending the ranks through various pivotal roles including B2B key account manager for Asian and Middle Eastern markets, head of the wholesale department, project manager, and director of the franchise business team, a post she held since 2017.
Font’s appointment is a strategic maneuver in Mango’s 2024-2026 roadmap. The company anticipates Font’s promotion will fortify Mango Home’s value proposition, amplifying its allure through aspirationality, quality, and distinctive style.
Established in 1984 in Barcelona, Mango capped off 2023 with a record revenue of € 3.103 billion, with a notable 33 per cent of its business stemming from the online channel, spanning across more than 115 markets.
