
Indian innerwear manufacturer Lux Industries may soon start offering innerwear for women and outerwear for kids under its premium brand ONN.
The company feels that the addition of new products will result in an improved bottom line. However, the final decision on the developments will be taken by January next year.
ONN, a premium innerwear and casual wear brand for men, significantly improved Lux Industries’ bottom line in the past, reportedly said Senior VP Saket Todi.
Currently, thermals for kids and women are among the products offered by ONN.
The company expects ONN to further increase its contribution to improving the overall margins. During the last fiscal, Lux Industries’ revenue stood at Rs. 972 crores while net profit was Rs. 62.85 crores.
Lux Industries expects a 5 per cent growth in the next two to three with the addition of new product categories.
Additionally, the company recently launched new thermals and expects to do well will in the segment this winter. At present, ONN’s 8 per cent sales come from thermals.
