
Lululemon Athletica which has been a tenant of Country Club Plaza in Kansas City for years, will relocate its current store to a bigger location at the same shopping complex.
The athletic wear retailer has decided to reopen its store at a new 5,000-square-foot area on the Plaza at 401 Nichols Road in October. The expanded store will have additional merchandise to offer. Additionally, the store will have room for free, in-store yoga, and ‘Run Club’ classes.
The store, which specialises in clothing for yoga, dancing, running and other activities, plans to reopen in mid-October.
The brand will share location with Gelato Shoppe, Baldwin Market, and Made in KC Marketplace- all recently opened stores. Others who will be tenant of plaza are Shake Shack, True Food Kitchen, and Altar’d State.
Furthermore, Vancouver-based yoga-inspired athletic apparel firm has opened a pop-up store at Oxford. The pop-up store, inaugurated on August 3, is located at Village Wall complex on University Ave.
The pop-up store has also partnered with The Yoga Space Oxford for a month of complimentary classes.
The company is also gearing to welcome its newly appointed new Chief Executive Officer Calvin McDonald on August 20.
