
Amisha Jain, former head of Arvind Limited’s Arvind Sports Lifestyle business, has been named as the successor of Shallen Sinha of lingerie brand Zivame. Sinha served the brand as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a period of more than a year.
In her new role at Zivame, Jain will be responsible for strengthening range of products designed specifically for Indian women. She will also work to strengthen omni-channel presence of the lingerie brand.
Jain, who terms Zivame a revolutionary brand, is thrilled to be part of the team. According Jain, Zivame played a vital role in transforming the face of the Indian lingerie market.
The company is hopeful that Jain, who has vast industry experience, will contribute in making Zivame the brand for Indian women at a much bigger scale.
It is worth mentioning here that Jain had also worked with Nike India as head of sales and played an important role in the expansion initiatives for both global and domestic brands. She also served at “Digital Center of Excellence” for Arvind Group.
Notably, the intimate wear brand is targeting to increase its physical presence by adding more stores by the end of next fiscal year. It has fixed a budget of around Rs. 40 crores for its expansion plan. It is set to increase the offline stores from current 26 to 100 by the end of FY 2019.
Additionally, the retailer is also considering to launch new categories like active wear and others soon.Focus on e-commerce operations in order to revitalise its declining retail business in the otherwise booming e-market is also major target of the brand.
