
Award-winning British lingerie label Bluebella has transcended its fund raising target of £ 500,000 by attracting more than £ 1 million from over 700 investors on crowd-funding platform, Crowdcube. The business has seen exceptional online growth of 265 per cent since 2011, and has increased by 130 per cent this year.
The company said the funds raised on Crowdcube will be used for initiatives designed to boost its customer acquisition and for building its brand profile in key markets.

Emily Bendell, CEO and Founder – Bluebella is ambitious about the growth plans for the brand which reported e-commerce and wholesale revenue of £ 929,000 in 2015 and she is bullish about sales to reach £ 1.6 million in 2016. Moreover, in 2017 sales are forecast to triple as Bluebella multiplies its growth through marketing initiatives.
Founded in 2005, Bluebella sells fashion-led lingerie and nightwear at affordable prices, which are available through its e-commerce site and select retail partners in more than 25 countries globally.
