French luxury fashion house, Lanvin, has introduced its inaugural Lanvin Lab collection in partnership with the Atlanta-born rapper and producer, Future.
The Lanvin Lab initiative aims to create a platform for artists and designers, fostering unique creative collaborations and cultural exchanges.
Drawing inspiration from music, Future’s nickname ‘Pluto’, and his penchant for layering and tailoring, the debut collection presents a unisex line of ready-to-wear apparel. This assortment includes utilitarian-style jackets, graphic hoodies, and T-shirts adorned with eagle and flower motifs, alongside tailored jackets.
Complementing the apparel, an array of accessories such as faux fur hats, sunglasses, belts, bags, gloves, leather goods, and a sleep set comprising slippers, a pillow, and a mask are part of the collection.
Future’s creative touch extends to a leather jacket intricately embellished with metallic studs forming a celestial constellation, drawing inspiration from Lanvin’s archives. The denim pieces feature typography reminiscent of Lanvin perfume campaigns from the 1930s-1940s.
Moreover, the rapper introduces an updated sneaker, the Curb 3.0, as part of this exclusive collaboration.
