Kurt Geiger, a British lifestyle brand, launched a 2,916 square feet flagship store in Oxford Street, London.
Rebecca Farrar- Hockley the chief creative officer at Kurt Geiger envisioned the new store celebrating London’s creativity and individuality with the architect Stefano Ripoli former head of David Collins Studio.
The store is spread throughout with Greiger’s visual signature appearance with the brand’s primary motif – the antiquated brass eagles – featuring on signage, door handles and internal cabinetry quilted in the same parquet pattern as the leather goods.
According to Neil Clifford CEO at Kurt Greiger “This new store design is one of the key ways in which we are communicating our brand story and it is not by chance that we are showcasing this first in London, our home and the city that inspires us. We are thrilled to open on Oxford Street, one of the most iconic shopping areas in the city.”
Similarly, Rebecca Farrar-Hockley states, “It’s about showing customers exactly how I perceive the brand, I think the store immediately gives a real sense of us.”
The store welcomes the customers with ‘London’ spelled out in mosaic tiles and ‘Kind By Design’ carved into the stone façade of the central service counter. The highlight of the store is the colour of the brand’s rainbow “played out in a quintessentially English floral print” over the ceiling and walls.
