US clothing retailer Kohl’s has announced that it will launch 400 Sephora shop-in-shops this year.
The retailer’s move follows its last year’s announcement that Sephora would unveil as many as 850 shop-in-shops at Kohl’s stores by 2023.
Notably, the shop-in-shops will span across 36 states and will end up taking the total Sephora shop-in-shops at Kohl’s stores to 600 by the end of 2022.
Here it is worth noting that the initial 200 stores were launched last year.
And that’s not all! By this spring, Kohl’s also plans to add brands such as Murad, Clarins, Versace, Voluspa and Jack Black, amongst others, through this concept.
The launch of Sephora at Kohl’s has enabled the retailer to not only expand beauty, but also open up additional space in its stores to invest in casual and active categories.
Kohl’s has, reportedly, stated that shop-in-shops have been working well for it.
Founded in 1962, Kohl’s is majorly known for apparels, footwear, bedding and furniture, amongst others.
