Kidswear start-up Orange Sugar has raised Rs. 4 crore (US $ 455,000) in a pre-seed angel funding round led by Consumer Collective by Atrium and Ramakant Sharma, with participation from several angel investors, including Saurabh Jain, Srivatsan Chari, Kunal Mahipal, Meghana Agarwal, and Sunil Khaitan, the company announced in a recent press release.
Founded by Tarun Agrawal, Payal Agarwal, and Bharath Gupta, Orange Sugar focuses on everyday cotton essentials for children up to 10 years of age, emphasising comfort, safety, and modern design.
The newly raised capital will be used to launch new product lines, strengthen the company’s presence across e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, expand into offline retail, and invest in brand-building, parent engagement, and supply chain enhancements.
Co-founder Tarun Agrawal said the fundraise reflected investor confidence in the company’s vision and mission. He added that, with the support of experienced investors, Orange Sugar was poised to scale, innovate, and lead the children’s essentials category with an unwavering focus on quality and trust.
Currently, Orange Sugar retails through Myntra, FirstCry, Nykaa Fashion, and its own direct-to-consumer platform, where it has recorded early traction and growing brand acceptance.
