Kering, owner of designer labels like Gucci, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and Alexander McQueen, among others, has reorganised its leadership in Mexico and is currently searching for a new country manager for the Bottega Veneta brand for the domestic market. The position will begin at the end of March.
The job posting, which was made public on 9th February via the official Kering portal, attests to the search and states that the new Bottega Veneta CEO will have direct accountability to the CEO of the Americas division for overseeing every facet of the company’s activities in Mexico.
The person assuming the role will succeed Óscar García Zamudio, who has led the Italian house since July 2022.
Currently, Bottega Veneta is putting its strategic development plan into action in Mexico. While preparing to construct a new store in Cancún, the company opened its first flagship location in Guadalajara by the end of 2023. Similarly, it may be found in Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Monterrey through shops inside El Palacio de Hierro.
