Karl Lagerfeld adds his touch to traditional Bavarian wear

Commemorating his soon-to-open concept store in Munich in Germany, iconic designer, Karl Lagerfeld has belted out a Bavarian-inspired capsule collection. The designer has added an eccentric character to the traditional Bavarian aesthetics, channelling it in a dirndl skirt, a white blouse and a pinafore. Adding a distinct edge of rock ‘n’ roll to the collection, the designer has experimented with black leather as well. The collection is expected to be revealed with the concept store’s opening in September, coinciding with the 180th anniversary of Oktoberfest – the annual beer festival held in the German city.
