
Superdry, the UK branded fashion firm, has appointed its founder Julian Dunkerton as its permanent Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Superdry’s founder made his way back to the firm following a shareholder vote in April this year, which witnessed Peter Bamford, Chairman; Euan Sutherland, Chief Executive; Ed Barker, Chief Financial Officer; and Penny Hughes, Chairman, Remuneration Committee resign from their post.
Julian’s contract as the permanent CEO has now been extended until April 2021.
The fashion retailer said “It is board’s unanimous view that Julian is the right person to lead the business through this initial crucial phase of the turnaround.”
The new chair Peter Williams said that Julian has a clear vision and his creativity and ambition along with his leadership excellence will help turnaround the business of the firm.
Julian’s pay will be disclosed in the annual report.
