Jordan Brand has made headlines in college football by announcing the signing of brothers Zion and Zachariah Branch to name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals. This makes them Nike Inc.’s inaugural NIL football athletes.
Zion Branch, a redshirt sophomore, plays safety at USC, while his brother Zachariah Branch, a sophomore, serves as a wide receiver and return specialist. Both brothers are from Las Vegas and previously played at Bishop Gorman High School.
Jordan Brand has previously made significant NIL signings, including basketball star Kiki Rice from UCLA in October 2022 and high school player Kiyomi McMiller in February 2023. In 2024, the brand also signed NFL players Maxx Crosby and Puka Nacua, as well as LSU guard Mikaylah Williams.
This latest move underscores Jordan Brand’s growing influence across various sports beyond basketball.
