Previously spent more than 20 years with Dollar General, Jeff Owen will rejoin the company as Executive Vice President of Store Operations. His joining will be effective June 15, 2015 as Greg Sparks, EVP of store operations, has departed, effective June 9, 2015. Todd Vasos, Dollar General’s CEO said, “Jeff’s experience at Dollar General brings unique perspectives and insights to our store operations team. We look forward to welcoming him back to Dollar General and his contributions in this critical role as we execute our new store growth. ”
Offering basic apparel, housewares and many other items, Dollar General have 12,000 stores in 43 states and has more retail locations in the US than any other discount retailer.
