Luisaviaroma, Italy’s premier and leading fashion retailer, has entered into a cooperation agreement with SECOO, an e-commerce platform, so as to offer high-end fashion and luxury products in China.
The agreement is expected to come into effect in the month of June. Once effective, SECOO users will be able to enjoy improved shopping experience with variety of choices to pick from the fashion world.
Expressing pride over the association, Federica Marchionni, SECOO International CEO and Group CSO, said that this alliance will help expand their business further. He also added that this agreement will enable SECOO bring luxury, exclusive, fashion, major and emerging brands to China.
“The intent is to give the most premium products to SECOO’s customers and enhance their shopping experience,” said Marchionni.
Indeed, it will be a one-of-a-kind shopping experience as Luisaviaroma with its brands will help shoppers have more choices and enjoy better services from Italy, whereas on the other hand, SECOO with its advanced technologies would support the retailer in enhanced mobile payment services, logistics and order tracking.
Marchionni added that with SECOO’s 27 million high-end consumers, the deal is a winning strategy for both the firms to capture the fast-emerging e-commerce opportunities in China.
