The reputed luxury house from Italy –Salvatore Ferragamo – has launched a concept store in SoHo to offer a new retail experience.
The new store, which is spread over a wide area of 2,700 square foot, will also unveil for the first time the Hologram Sneaker customisation tool and an immersive NFT booth – enabling customers make their own digital artwork.
The Hologram Sneaker customisation tool will help the retailer’s clients to design their own 6R3ENE sneaker by projecting a holographic version of their work in progress on a 6-foot-tall wall.
Similarly, the immersive NFT booth will allow visitors to choose from a selection of backdrops to mint their unique artwork – limited to 256 individual NFTs – on the Ethereum Blockchain via OpenSea.
Notably, the backdrops were exclusively designed by Shxpir – thereby inspiring a new T-shirt and sweatshirt collaboration.
The collaboration comprises 250 T-shirts (priced at US $ 350) and 150 sweatshirts (priced at US $ 650).
The proceeds, reportedly, will be donated to The Center, which is one of the oldest and leading LGBTQ + organisations in New York City.
The Florence-based retailer is known for its apparels, shoes and leather goods, amongst others.
