
Italian Fashion Chamber has come forward to help the Ukrainian war refugees!
In association with an industry manager with an experience of 30 years, Camera della Moda (CNMI) – Italian fashion industry association – has unveiled a job placement initiative for Ukrainian refugees.
Notably, the CNMI members have made 150 positions available at their companies for Ukrainians, who will be employed at various production sites across Italy.
The Ukrainian refugees will be offered fixed-term contracts and will be allowed to return to Ukraine once situation improves there.
Carlo Capasa, President, CNMI, while expressing gratitude to its affiliates, said “Thanks to the efforts, sensitivity and generosity of our affiliates, we are able to activate a project that brings some hope, building a bridge towards a peaceful, collaborative and inclusive future.”
CNMI will team up with Italy’s regional and municipal authorities as well as the mayors of the towns indicated by its members, to help provide information on the number of jobs available.
