India’s home-grown lingerie brand PrettySecrets, which has been focussing on its physical expansion, has now started considering expansion of its offerings.
Athleisure clothing, yoga wear, and more plus-size products are likely to be offered by the brand soon, reportedly said its Founder and CEO, Karan Behal.
The brand currently retails its products through both online and offline stores. It aims to have 60 exclusive brand stores by end of this year and 300 physical retail networks via franchise route by the year 2019. Its current average store size is approximately 550 sq. ft., however, the brand’s future stores will range between 450 and 500 sq. ft.
In addition to new product launch, the lingerie retailer is also planning to expand its range of ‘nude’ coloured underwear. It has recently added three different shades of nude.
With an aim to boost brand’s distribution network, opening up of fulfilment centres and small offices in both Delhi and Bengaluru is also on the cards.
The under-consideration fulfilment centres are likely to be in the size range of 3,000 to 5,000 square feet. The construction work will reportedly begin this year.
In view of offering a hassle-free shopping experience to its customers, it has now started opening stores without cash counters. Staffs at these stores are equipped with devices and assist customers to look for product and subsequent billing process. The latest system has been put in place at its 12 stores inaugurated recently.
Further, PrettySecrets is also eyeing to expand its online presence with an aim to achieve 200 per cent growth.
